FAQ & Help

Orders & delivery

Where do you deliver?+
UK mainland addresses.
How much is delivery?+
Delivery is calculated by parcel weight and shown on the cart page before you pay — there's never a surprise added at checkout. Orders over a certain value qualify for free delivery, and the cart tells you when that applies.
How do I track my order?+
Use track your order with the email you ordered with and the order number from your confirmation email (shown as #XXXXXXXX). If you have an account, your order history shows the same thing.
I haven't had a confirmation email.+
Check your spam folder first — confirmation emails come from orders@thetangy.com. If it's genuinely not there, get in touch and we'll look it up.

Returns & refunds

Can I return something?+
Yes — as a UK consumer you can cancel for any reason within 14 days of receiving your order. Full details, including the exceptions, are on the returns & cancellations page.
How do I start a return?+
If you have an account, open the order in your order history and use the "Request return" form. If you checked out as a guest, contact us with your order number and we'll sort it.
Is there anything you can't take back?+
Pierced jewellery, for hygiene reasons, once the packaging has been opened. The returns policy covers this in full.

Payment & gift cards

How do I pay?+
Card payments are handled by Stripe — we never see or store your card details. Prices shown include VAT.
How do gift cards work?+
Buy one like any other product and a unique code is emailed out automatically. To redeem, enter the code on the cart page before checking out — the balance comes off your total, and anything left over stays on the card for next time.
Can I use a gift card and a discount code together?+
Not on the same order — our payment provider treats them as mutually exclusive, so when a gift card is applied the discount-code field isn't shown for that order.

Products & stock

Something's out of stock — will it come back?+
Often, yes. On any out-of-stock product page there's a "notify me" box — leave your email and you'll get a message the moment it comes back in. We only use that address for that one alert.
